Shimla, July 13 -- BJP Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan on Monday accused the Himachal Pradesh government of imposing fresh user charges on people.
He alleged that delayed payments to hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) had adversely affected treatment for poor patients in the state.
Mahajan made the remarks after paying a courtesy call on Himachal Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan in Shimla, where he said discussions were held on the implementation of various welfare schemes being run by the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
