Shimla, July 6 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday extended warm greetings and best wishes to His Holiness Dalai Lama on his 91st birthday, describing him as a global symbol of compassion, non-violence, peace and universal human values.
In a message issued here, the Chief Minister said the Dalai Lama's life continues to inspire humanity to follow the path of love, harmony and selfless service, while his teachings serve as a beacon of hope and moral guidance for millions of people across the world.
