Shimla, Nov. 5 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday flagged off an anti-chitta walkathon at Tissa in Chamba district, with a large number of students participating in the campaign to spread awareness against drug abuse.
The walkathon commenced from PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Tissa, with students carrying the message of staying away from drugs and highlighting the harmful effects of chitta and other intoxicating substances.
Addressing the occasion, the Chief Minister said the state government was taking stringent action against drug mafias and would not tolerate anyone involved in the illegal drug trade in Himachal Pradesh.
