Shimla, April 27 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday expressed deep grief over the death of a woman during a religious ceremony at Kulgaon in the Rohru subdivision of Shimla district and directed the authorities to take strict action against those found responsible.
The Chief Minister said he had sought details of the incident from the district administration and instructed officials to conduct a thorough inquiry.
Sukhu emphasised that responsibility must be fixed and action taken as per the law.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place during a religious gathering in Kulgaon village, where a large number of people had assembled.
