Shimla, June 12 -- : Himachal Pradesh has approved the Grazing Policy-2026, introducing a comprehensive framework aimed at improving the livelihoods of graziers, strengthening the rural economy and ensuring sustainable management of forest and pasture resources across the state.
The policy seeks to reform pastoral governance through a scientific and participatory approach while preserving the traditional grazing practices that support thousands of livestock-dependent families.
