Kangra, Aug. 29 -- Rich tributes were paid here today to Ma. A. Balakrishnan, All India President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, who passed away at Kanyakumari on Thursday.
Despite Raksha Bandhan celebrations, members and office-bearers of Vivekananda Kendra gathered to pay homage to the veteran social worker and recalled his significant contribution to strengthening the organisation and expanding its "Serve Man, Serve God" mission, particularly in the Northeast.
Ashok Yaksaan, Sanchalak, Uttar Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, said Balakrishnan's life was an embodiment of "Seva and Samarpan" (service and dedication).
