Dharamshala, April 4 -- Police have seized narcotic substances in two separate incidents in Himachal Pradesh and registered cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that in the first case, Kangra Police Station recovered 10.59 grams of chitta (heroin) from Gaurav Chaudhary, a resident of village Gandharp, post office Draman, tehsil Shahpur in Kangra district.
He said that the recovery was made on April 3 at Hanumanghat on the Kangra bypass.
A case has been registered under Sections 21, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act.
