Shimla, March 1 -- An FIR has been registered against three persons in connection with a fire incident that allegedly damaged an apple orchard in Kupvi area of Shimla district.
The case has been registered at Police Station Kupvi under Sections 287 and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
According to police information, the First Information Report (No. 09/26 dated February 28, 2026) was lodged on the complaint of Prakash Chand, a resident of Kupvi. In his complaint, he alleged that on February 28, Suresh Chand, his wife Sheela Devi and a villager identified as Joginder allegedly set fire and fled from the spot.
