Palampur, Sept. 7 -- Himachal Pradesh Ayush, Youth Services and Sports and Law Minister Yadvinder Goma announced that a state-of-the-art national-level indoor sports stadium would be constructed at Jhunga Devi in Sol Banehar panchayat of Jaisinghpur at a cost of Rs 24 crore.
Goma was speaking on Saturday after inaugurating the Under-19 girls' zonal-level sports competitions at Jalg in the Jaisinghpur Assembly constituency. Around 25 schools are participating in the tournament.
The minister said the stadium, which was earlier proposed for Jaisinghpur but shifted to Jhunga Devi due to non-availability of land, would have modern facilities and seating for around 1,000 spectators. It would help promote sports among youngsters and nurture spor...
