Una (HP), March 5 -- Nine pilgrims from Pehowa area of Haryana were injured, including four seriously, after a private truck carrying them lost its control and fell into a deep ravine near Pirnagah in Una district.
At the time of the accident last night, 10-15 devotees were aboard the vehicle. The seriously injured have been shifted to PGI, Chandigarh, official sources said today.
According to reports, devotees from Gandhi Nagar, Kurukshetra (Pihowa), Haryana, had come to pay obeisance at Baba Badbhaag Singh Maidi and Pirnigah in a truck (HR45B-1564). While returning around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, the driver lost control of the vehicle near Peer Nigahe, and the truck plunged off the road into a deep ravine.
