Dharamshala, March 19 -- Kangra district is set to achieve a tuberculosis (TB)-free status through coordinated efforts and active public participation, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar has said.

Chairing a meeting of the Multi-Sectoral TB-Free India Campaign and the District Tuberculosis Eradication Committee at Zonal Hospital here on Tuesday, Kumar stressed that collective action by all departments, institutions and citizens is key to eliminating TB.

Reviewing ongoing activities, he directed departments to work in synergy under a target-based action plan to achieve the goal at the earliest.
