Shimla, April 20 -- Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh has approved an annual budget of Rs 76.07 crore for the financial year 2026-27, with a focus on strengthening technical education, research, innovation and skill development in the state.
The budget was cleared after detailed deliberations in a Finance Committee meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor and Secretary Technical Education Abhishek Jain and subsequently approved by the university's Board of Directors.
