Dharamshala, April 27 -- Swift action by the district administration led to the successful rescue of two paragliders following an accident in the remote Guran Dhar area of Baijnath subdivision in Himachal Pradesh.

Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa informed that immediately after receiving information about the paragliding mishap, a rescue operation was launched. Owing to the extremely difficult terrain and lack of road connectivity, the government promptly requisitioned helicopter assistance. Acting without delay, both paragliders were rescued safely.
