Hamirpur (HP), May 17 -- A new synthetic track will be laid at the Anu Degree College sports ground in Hamirpur district. Divya Tiwari, Executive Officer of the Sports Authority of India's Hamirpur unit, announced this at the inauguration of the two-day athletics competition in Hamirpur.
About 900 young athletes are taking part in the two days championship.
She said that hundreds of athletes have made Hamirpur proud by winning medals at state and national level competitions using the synthetic track in Hamirpur. She noted that players like Manisha at the international level, Priya, Shivali, and Suhani at the national level have brought glory to the state.
