Shimla, March 16 -- Fresh snowfall across the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh has revived winter conditions at several tourist resorts, bringing relief to the hospitality industry which has been struggling due to a weak winter season and prolonged dry spell.

A light sheet of snow covered several popular tourist destinations including Rohtang Pass, Narkanda, Hatu Peak, Khadrala and Kalpa, attracting a large number of tourists eager to witness snowfall during the fading winter season.

Visitors were seen moving towards these destinations in large numbers after reports of fresh snowfall spread.

According to weather data, Khadrala in Shimla district recorded the highest snowfall of 10.2 cm, followed by Kalpa (Kinnaur)with 6.4 cm. Gondhla(L...
