Shimla, Feb. 28 -- Four persons lost their lives and two sustained injuries in three separate road accidents reported from different parts of Shimla district during the last 24 hours.
In an incident in Kumarsain sub-division, a Chandigarh-based couple died after their jeep (HR98X-1948) fell around 150 metres into Jabbal Nala on Saturday morning. The driver, Ankur Rajpal, died at the scene, while his wife Aparajita succumbed to injuries after being taken to hospital.
Superintendent of Police Shimla Garauv Singh stated that in Deha area of the distirct, a car reportedly rolled down the road during the night and struck the roof of a house at Jubbar village. The driver, Naresh of Dochi in Sirmaur district, was found dead at the spot.
