Kolkata, April 29 -- The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar on Wednesday said that West Bengal has recorded the "highest-ever percentage of polling, in both phase I and II since Independence."According to CEC Gyanesh Kumar, the state has witnessed record-breaking turnout across the two phases of polling, marking the highest level of participation since Independence.
