Shimla, March 26 -- Taking a firm view of the November 2024 dispute at the Brahmo Samaj Temple near the A.G. Office, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has held that petitioners cannot seek judicial intervention while refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
A Division Bench of Chief Justice G.S. Sandhawalia and Justice Bipin C. Negi, while hearing (Cr.WP No. 23 of 2024) and connected matters, reviewed the status of multiple FIRs registered at Police Station West Shimla.
The Court noted that FIR Nos. 212 and 215 of 2024 remain under investigation. Charge sheets have already been filed in FIR Nos. 204 and 205, while FIR No. 207 has been closed with a cancellation report citing lack of prima facie evidence.
