Lucknow, Nov. 11 -- A powerful explosion near Delhi's Red Fort today evening has triggered a statewide high alert in Uttar Pradesh.
Following the blast, security agencies have intensified vigilance across sensitive districts including Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Mathura, known for their religious and historical significance.
According to DGP Rajeev Krishna, the entire state has been put on alert. "All important installations and public places are under strict surveillance. Checking operations and patrolling have been stepped up, and police have been instructed to remain fully alert to any suspicious activity," he said.
