Beirut, May 4 -- Hezbollah leader Naim Qaseem, dismissing the current ceasefire with Israel said that the war is far from over yet.

"There is no ceasefire in Lebanon, but rather continuous Israeli-American aggression," declared Naim in a written statement, vowing that the Islamist militia would "remain patient" and continue resisting Israel.

The Hezbollah chief argued that Israel "has not implemented a single step of the agreement, violating it more than 10,000 times, killing 500 civilians, wounding hundreds, destroying thousands of homes and livelihoods, and displacing people from their villages."Israel has maintained that its operations are defensive, targeting Hezbollah positions to prevent further attacks.
