Vantaa (Finland), Aug. 14 -- Former Australia international Moises Henriques has admittedhe took inspiration from Italy's debut campaign at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this year when switching allegiances to lead Portugal in their quest to qualify for the next edition of the20-over showcase.
Henriques played 44 matches for Australia across all formats from 2009 to 2021, but recently decided to switch to the country of his birth in Portugal to try and help them win a place at the 2028 edition of the T20 World Cup.
Their quest to reach the 2028 event in Australia and New Zealand commences in Finland on Friday when Portugal will take part in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C, with just the winner of the 10-t...
