Ranchi, June 15 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday launched the 'District Sandbox' initiative aimed at accelerating testing and adoption of healthcare technologies in real-world public health settings, while stressing that innovation and artificial intelligence would play a key role in the future of healthcare delivery.

Launching the initiative at the MedTech Innovation Day programme organised by the Bharatiya Vikas Trust (BVT) and PHIA Foundation here, Soren said technology-driven solutions were essential for improving healthcare access, particularly in remote, tribal and underserved regions of the state.
