Dehradun, March 3 -- Heli companies working in Chardham pilgrimage shrines in Uttarakhand will find it difficult to work this season due to their failure to pay dues of Rs 3 crore to the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC).

BKTC will issue notices to the defaulting air service providers for repayment of their dues with interest, followed by legal action if the pending amounts are not paid.

Aviation companies operating both routine and chartered helicopter services for Char Dham pilgrimage are yet to pay over Rs 3 crore charged by the committee for special darshan to the devotees at the shrines.
