Keylong, March 18 -- Authorities have issued a fresh weather alert for Lahaul-Spiti district, warning of a spell of rain and snowfall over the next few days, with conditions likely to intensify during the ongoing wet spell.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, light to moderate rain and snowfall is very likely at many places in Lahaul-Spiti over the next few hours and days.
The nowcast alert indicates active weather conditions across the district, particularly in higher reaches, with the possibility of reduced visibility and slippery roads.
The warning comes in continuation of the earlier advisory issued by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Lahaul Spiti which had cautioned about heavy snowfall between March 18 ...
