Ashok RainaDharamshala, July 21 -- Continuous heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in the Shahpur subdivision of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, as18 houses, nine cowsheds, and one primary school building were washed away in Spaida and Garhgoon villages of Boh Valley, officials said here on Tuesday.
According to preliminary reports, the 18 houses were completely destroyed in the rain-triggered incident. Besides this nine cowsheds and a Primary school building were washed away in the flash floods.
Eight cattle heads were washed away with the water and three women were injured and rushed for treatment.
The district administration has launched relief and rescue operations in the affected villages.
