Shimla, Sept. 6 -- Persistent rains have again thrown life out of gear across Himachal Pradesh, with major disruptions reported in road connectivity, power supply, and water schemes.
According to the Meteorological Centre Shimla, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms is likely at most places today, with intense spells expected in Mandi, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur districts.
Shimla, Solan, and Kullu may also receive moderate showers, while light rain is predicted at isolated locations in other districts.
The weather office has cautioned against landslides, flash floods in vulnerable areas, and traffic congestion due to slippery roads. People have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay indoors. The State E...
