Hubballi, June 14 -- Karnataka Minister Santosh Lad on Saturday said that over 60 mm of rainfall in a single night across Hubballi taluk and Dharwad district has led to widespread flooding, damage to homes, and two fatalities. Addressing media, Lad said disasters of this scale were becoming increasingly frequent. "People's lives have been seriously affected. Around 150 homes have either been partially damaged or completely inundated. Some houses have collapsed, and several vehicles were half-submerged," he stated.
