Dharamshala, Aug. 31 -- Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa today urged citizens and tourists to remain vigilant in view of the red alert issued by the Meteorological Department for the next two days, predicting heavy rainfall at several places in the district.

He appealed to the public to avoid going near rivers and streams, refrain from unnecessary travel, stay in safe locations, and not take any risks during the inclement weather.
