Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 25 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a series of Orange and Yellow alerts across Kerala as the state braces for heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next five days.
The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has urged residents to remain vigilant and follow the safety directions issued by district and local authorities.
According to the latest IMD forecast, isolated heavy rainfall measuring between 7 and 11 cm in 24 hours is likely to occur in several districts from October 25 to 28.
