Panchkula, Aug. 7 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported light to moderate rain in many areas of Haryana and a few locations in Punjab over the past 24 hours.
Heavy rain was observed at isolated places in Haryana, while thunderstorms occurred in isolated areas of Punjab and gusty winds in both Punjab and Haryana.
According to the Evening Weather Bulletin of IMD, Haryana's average maximum temperature dropped by 4.5 degree Celsius compared to the previous day and remained 3.7 degree C below normal. The highest maximum temperature, 34.7 degree C, was recorded at Canal Colony Village Ottu (AWS).
