Panchkula, Sept. 14 -- Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab during September 14-17, with rain activity expected to become fairly widespread over the region during September 16-17, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday.
In its All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8:10 am, the IMD said fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, was likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab during September 16-17.
Isolated to scattered rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely over the remaining parts of northwest India.
