Panchkula, Sept. 5 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh on September 5 and 6, while Uttarakhand is likely to receive heavy rain at secluded areas for six days till September 10.
According to the IMD's All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8:49 am on September 5, fairly widespread rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on Saturday. Similar rainfall activity is forecast over Himachal Pradesh on September 5 and Uttarakhand during September 5-10.
