Hyderabad, June 4 -- Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana from June 5 to 8, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In its daily weather report issued here, the Centre stated that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40-50 kmph to 50-60 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places across the state during the next seven days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at many places over Telangana during the same period.
The report further said that maximum temperatures are expected to gradually fall by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius over the next four days.
Rain occurred at one or two places in Telangana during the last 24 hours.
