Pune, Aug. 8 -- Several parts of central Maharashtra and Marathwada are likely to witness thunderstorms and heavy rainfall over the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast.
Citizens have been advised to check local weather conditions and plan their travel accordingly.
After a brief lull in rainfall activity across several parts of the state in recent days, weather conditions are now showing signs of a change, with rainfall intensity expected to increase in the coming days.
According to the IMD, a low-pressure area is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal within the next 24 hours.
