Panchkula, July 30 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a strong monsoon affecting Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad until August 4.
Residents should expect widespread showers, heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across the region.
According to the IMD's morning All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin, widespread rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, and Punjab during July 30-August 4.
Similar rainfall is also expected over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad during the same period.
