Panchkula, Aug. 12 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a very heavy rain for isolated locations in Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on August 11, with heavy rainfall expected from August 14 to 17.
The IMD has also predicted widespread rainfall over the western Himalayas, central India, eastern India the Northeast and the west coast through August 17.
The IMD's latest bulletin indicates that Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh, and Uttarakhand will likely experience widespread rainfall from August 11 to 17. Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi are expected to receive widespread rainfall on August 11-12 and August 14-15, with isolated heavy rainfall forecast from August 14 to 17.
