Hyderabad, May 27 -- Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Khammam districts of Telangana over the next 48 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In its daily weather report, the department stated that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at speeds of 50-60 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places across the state during the next seven days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at isolated places over Telangana during the same period.
