Lucknow, May 25 -- With the onset of Nautapa on Monday, the southern parts of Uttar Pradesh are reeling under intense heatwaves, while the Terai region and Purvanchal region are experiencing thunderstorms, lightning, and light rain.
The weather in Uttar Pradesh has turned unpredictable these days even though heatwave conditions continue.
Nautapa, which commenced on Monday, is expected to continue till June 2.
