Lucknow, April 30 -- A five-hour discussion on women's empowerment was held in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council following the introduction of a proposal emphasizing gender equality as envisioned in the Constitution of India and the need to ensure greater participation of women across political, social, economic, educational, and health sectors.
