Patna, March 2 -- The hearing on the regular bail application of the accused in the suspicious death case of a NEET aspirant was deferred on Monday in a special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court due to questions over jurisdiction.
The regular bail plea of Manish Kumar Ranjan, the jailed accused and owner of Shambhu Girls Hostel, was scheduled for hearing in the court of Special POCSO Judge Rajeev Ranjan Raman in connection with the case. As it is, the minor girl was staying at a hostel in the Chitragupt Nagar police station area of Patna while preparing for NEET when she died under suspicious circumstances.
