Kolkata, May 27 -- The West Bengal Health Department has ordered a departmental inquiry against Professor Dr Anjan Adhikari, former Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal (MSVP) of Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, over allegations of negligence, administrative lapses, and dereliction of duty.
The move came a day after Adhikari was transferred from the premier state-run hospital to Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital in Uttar Dinajpur district, where he has been posted as a professor in the Pharmacology Department.
