Ch. Sambhajinagar, April 9 -- A headmistress of a private school in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a bribe of Rs 300 on Thursday April 9, officials said. The accused has been identified as Maria Jose Estibero (52), headmistress of Holy Cross Marathi High School in the Cantonment area. She had allegedly demanded money from a former student to issue a school leaving certificate.
According to the complaint, the former student required the 'school leaving extract' for personal work and approached the headmistress.
