Hassan, July 21 -- union Minister HD Kumaraswamy made an emotional pledge to reform himself and live by his late mother Chennamma's ideals after bidding her a tearful farewell at her state funeral in Hassan district, saying he would "never again do anything that would hurt her soul."Chennamma, wife of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, was cremated with full state honours at Mavinakere in Holenarasipur taluk on Monday evening in the presence of Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Pralhad Joshi, senior political leaders, family members and a large gathering of mourners.
