New Delhi, March 19 -- HDFC Bank Chairman Atanu Chakraborty's resignation sparked a series of controversies as he termed the reason behind his stepping down as "practices not in congruence with personal and value ethics".
Chakraborty, who joined HDFC Bank in 2021 as Part-Time Chairman and Independent Director of the Bank on Thursday written his resignation to the Chairman of the Governance, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, stating that certain happenings and practices within the bank aren't in congruence with my personal values and ethics.
