Aizawl, Aug. 7 -- The Gauhati High Court's Aizawl Bench has stayed further proceedings for framing charges against two former Mizoram Tourism Ministers and a former legislator in connection with alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Swadesh Darshan 1.0 eco-adventure circuit project.
Justice Budi Habung, hearing the petitions at the Aizawl Bench, directed that proceedings relating to the framing of charges against the petitioners remain stayed until the next date of hearing, scheduled for August 17.
The petitioners are former Tourism Ministers John Rotluangliana and Robert Romawia Royte, who is currently an MLA, and former legislator Lalrindika Ralte. They have been named as accused in the case being investigated in connectio...
