Shimla, March 10 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court has quashed the state government's notification that shifted Village Manlog-Badog from Gram Panchayat Hanuman Badog to Gram Panchayat Darlaghat in Solan district.
The decision was delivered by a division bench comprising Justice Vivek Thakur and Justice Ranjan Sharma on Tuesday while hearing Civil Writ Petition( No. 1791 of 2026) filed by Nehru Yuva Club and Mahila Mandal of Village Manlog-Badog.
The petitioners had challenged the state government notification dated January 27, 2026, through which Village Manlog-Badog was excluded from Gram Panchayat Hanuman Badog and included in Gram Panchayat Darlaghat. They argued that the reorganisation had been carried out without properly consideri...
