Prayagraj, May 8 -- : The Allahabad High Court on Friday issued notices to two accused on a petition seeking a CBI inquiry into the suspicious death of Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey.
The High Court issued notices to both accused, Sanjay Singh and Samar Singh, and ordered a rehearing of the case.
A division bench of Justice Siddhartha and Justice Vinay Kumar Dwivedi delivered the judgment.
The court directed the accused to serve a copy of the petition. The court sought a counter affidavit from SHO Sarnath. If the SHO does not submit the counter affidavit, he is ordered to appear at the next hearing at 10 am.
