Patna, July 6 -- In a major crackdown aimed at flushing out unauthorized medical centres across Bihar, the Patna High Court has commended the state government''s proactive initiatives to enforce mandatory registration for all small-scale healthcare institutions.
The observations were made by Justice Rajiv Roy during the hearing of a criminal miscellaneous petition originating from the Barhara Police Station in Bhojpur district.
During the proceedings, an inspection report revealed that an alleged medical facility consisted of merely a two-bedroom setup and could not be construed as a functional hospital.
