Washington, Feb. 7 -- Steve Carell's upcoming comedy series 'Rooster' has officially received a release date along with its first trailer. The ten-episode series is set to premiere on March 8 on HBO, with new episodes airing weekly through May 10.

Created by Ted Lasso and Shrinking co-creator Bill Lawrence alongside his former Scrubs collaborator Matt Tarses, the series blends campus comedy with character-driven humour.
