Srinagar, Sept. 7 -- Even as J&K Police is silent on the investigations and purported detentions after the national emblem was allegedly defaced at the revered Dargah Hazratbal, Srinagar Member Parliament claimed that around 30 people have been detained in this connection.

J&K Police had registered a case at Police Station Nigeen on Friday evening, hours after a group of worshippers defaced the emblem sculpted on the inaugural plaque in the premises of the Hazratbal shrine.
